At a Village Inn today other diners were loudly conflating queer people with pedophiles and would not stop. The manager defended them. I am angry and disgusted. VI is for hard right bigots only and to be avoided by anyone else.

@HeroOfDermwood They aren't being clear about that because it isn't technically feasible, and they know it, especially if they are only tracking "aggregate" data as they claim they will be.
In other words, they're lying.
This is my friend who has a rare cancer, and treatment is ending his ability to work, but disability won't do anything until he hasn't worked for two months. If anyone can donate to help with that gap I appreciate it!

@[email protected] The fact that "AI" has been so thoroughly corrupted into a marketing term for machine learning that we needed a new term (AGI) for "real" (or strong) AI is utterly typical of marketing as an exercise in lying to people that want to believe lies.
If you interact with these LLMs for more than two minutes it becomes extremely clear there is no "intelligence" here as they start saying things no intelligent being would, but still they're being pushed hard as "AI".
