Writer in the Rockford, Illinois area. Don't really like politics, sometimes talk about them anyway. Fully vaccinated, and keep the boosters coming. The Disney version of Merlin is everything I hope to one day become. I post whatever weird bullshit pops into my head. Homo non est nihil nisi homem.
And, unfortunately, in light of the next few movies in the pipeline, it seems that the 'After the Plague' age has now ended. We're now in the 'Well, guess we'll make some sequels, lol' era.
Hot take: the more sophisticated AI-generated content gets, the better humans will get at recognizing it, and the more sophisticated and interesting genuine human creations will become.

@DrLindseyFitzharris 'A night with Venus leads to a life with Mercury.'

--Actual saying from back then.

An update: upon reflection, I've decided that the third 'We lived, bitch' age ended with Frozen II. From Raya and the Last Dragon onward, we have been in the 'After the Plague' era.
I'd like to thank the people who made Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey for giving me something I can spend the rest of my life bringing up every time hipsters talk about how great it is when something goes into the public domain.
@jaykuo But they absolutely did sing about which national bird to adopt in the entrance area of Independence Hall while the Declaration of Independence was being read: that was corroborated by several credible witnesses.
@DamnInteresting That's a hell of a headline.

So, forget all that 'Golden Age/Silver Age/Bronze Age' crap. The history of Disney movies can be divided into the following eras:

-The fuck we CAN'T make a full-length animated movie.
-Don't you know there's a war on?
-We lived, bitch.
-So, Disneyland's a thing, now.
-O Captain, My Captain...
-Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap.
-We lived, bitch.
-The Gilded Age.
-So... heehe... the CGI ones are just as good...RIGHT!?!?!?
And, lastly, the current era:
-We lived, bitch.

@MeanwhileinCanada Biblically accurate snow angel.
