116. Bleeding Heart Yard by Elly Griffiths (Harbinder Kaur #3, contemporary mystery series, lesbian Anglo-Indian DI) A death at a school reunion with ties to a long-ago death of student, untangles memories and relationships (CW: murder, betrayal, buried memories).
@Kaetrin oh wow! I’m glad she is on the mend but that is super frightening
Enjoying the beautiful varied view from our living room in PR
@FeliciaDavin as a late Gen-x it was more of something I adopted in my 20s but full-time internet about sums it up.

Decided to reactivate my blog for my mini-reviews. I’ll keep my content where I own it!

One of the ways I live using Twitter is by keeping a annual book thread. Trying to think if I need to microblog my reviews again instead. https://twitter.com/anacoqui/status/1592319580181233664?s=46&t=luAM0SFv2O0dm86cd5dc5A

“106. The Witness by Nora Roberts ( ND fugitive/small town cop) One night of rebellion, twelve years on the run, and affectionate persistent man who helps find a way to stop running. I got stuck halfway because I worried so much about how it might go wrong! ( Cw: guns, murders).”

@RedLJameson I had used a third party tool. I went to Twitter and looked at the apps I had approved and was able to track it from there.

You know what I'm not going to do Mastadon anymore because I just got told to my face that http://romancelandia.club is just for hanging out and every day things and just to chill out.

I'm Black in a community that is %76 white. I deal with bigotry everyday.

I've read several articles that explain how Mastodon's culture is inherently different from Twitter's (and, it is implied or stated outright, better) and chide us Twitter people for not adapting sufficiently to said culture, but I have...concerns. https://twitter.com/ingloriousgigi/status/1590806052001705984

I’ve boosted lots of info about CWs this week. I’ve also seen CWs weaponized against BIPOC and other marginalized folks, so want to clarify:

White ppl, it’s racist to ask BIPOC to CW racism. Racism CWs are Not For You. (Same goes for other axes of discrimination. If you’re holding the privilege, STFU.)

It’s not ok to harass/confront people about CWs. Just move along. You have tools to curate your feed.

I will boost marginalized voices on this issue. Feel free to unfollow/block me for that. 👋
