Shingles shot #1. My arm hurts like fun (please note the sarcasm), but it's better than the alternative.
Going through some boxes in the basement this afternoon and unearthed a gem - my first published work! This was late 1980, early 1981 or so.
I thought this was long gone!
It's an anthology of poems and stories from contributing students grades 2 - 6. My story is pretty raw but I like to think my enthusiasm and imagination helped whatever teacher heading up this project decide to publish it.
Heck, my art even graces the cover! 😊
