Last week I finally hit my breaking point with URLs like http://192.168.1.10:32400. Sure, I can remember that Plex runs on port 32400… but what about Home Assistant? Or my random test container from three months ago? My brain already holds enough useless trivia—memorizing port numbers doesn’t need to be part of the collection. I wanted a clean, memorable way to reach every self‑hosted service on my network—plex.home.arpa, pihole.home.arpa, npm.home.arpa, you name it.
Well, I just got to use my first expedited App Store review.
Today was the first day of customers being able to use my IAP… I had a bug. (I used last year’s data for testing and didn't update…)
Woke up with many customer emails. Ugh I felt sick to my stomach.
Fixed it, submitted the update, and submitted an expedite request.
From submission to approval was 36 minutes. Very happy with the App Store team on this one.
A painful but valuable lesson learned!

I should also share that I learned about git stash via Claude AI.
Claude Sonnet 3.5 and ChatGPT have both been amazing tools for a beginner programmer.
