@rebane2001 sadly github under microslops ownership, seems to have no interest in stoping all the slop or bots. I've seen many a thing on github, especially since openclaw is now a thing. I have seen people spaming potentially malicious links to “verifiy” your foss project on a ai slop farm. children, mentally at least, throw a tantrum over their “CVE” not getting attention when their so called exploit does requires itself to exploit (needs client side access to grab client side info). and now this, really have no hope for github anymore, knew it was not gonna be good after the microsoft acquisition wayback but this is much worse. sadly gitlab is kinda going ai as well, but you can selfhost at least. I ended up going the route of migrating off github entirely and my accounts are now private with no repos.

I have a vps and i cant just mount any iso, i have to request it. I'm wanting a linux distro that does not run ssh by default as they should. the kvm is unusable while im on my phone and im out of the house with just my phone. I edited the iso to run the ssh server and take my pubkeys using thr current vps install. tech support also requires the iso to be served from a web server, so i just popped up caddy on the vps and stuck the file there. ​​

I just learned that anyone can just go and get a CVE for a basic attack and pester a FOSS project about it even though their “attack” requires a compromised client to compromise said client side. ​​

darn it sharkey, i just want to scroll my feed while logged in and not hit a react popup just once! definitely unrelated side note, does anyone know of a way to turn off that annoying popup that cause a default react on click. i think thats a thing? every time i login and start scrolling, in the first few posts there is a little animation beneath my finger right as i go to scroll more and then it does my default react
