I'm pleased to announce that singer-songwriter extraordinaire, Eliza Rankin will be joining me on April 26 for a celebration of the end of winter in poetry and song! 2pm EDT. contact me for the Zoom link if you might be coming. Thanks to the Writers Union of Canada for supporting my reading! and the City of Ottawa for funding my manuscript of winter poems!
a dear friend of mine who is a Senior, and lives in Ottawa, is going thru a health issue and could use a week or two in respite care. does anyone have any recommendations? she was quoted for one place, a minimum of one month's stay at $4500 which is way more time than she needs. all the places i've looked at don't give price lists unless you contact them. she's really not in any condition to do this. sigh.#ottawa
thanks to Malcolm Curtis for including my visual poems from Winter Collected in talking about strawberries all the time https://talkingaboutstrawberries.blogspot.com/2026/04/amanda-earl.html
