That was a fun and wild as hell 4 months let me tell you what.

Wowee. Respite has QUICKLY became my 3rd most popular world out of the 5 I've published in the span of about a year and it may zoom past the original Outpost Alpha soon enough.

On THAT note, in like 2 weeks will be the 1 year anniversary of my first ever #VRChat world.

I know a lot of friends still like it, but I DEFINITELY have that artist brain of going back to it and just like "😬 oh right its 99% poiyomi shaders and realtime lights".

I both can't believe I've been making VRC worlds for a year but also this world feels like its 4 years old.

Figured out the weird audio/video syncing issue with the video player in my Respite Alpha world where it would sync the video but need to be resynced by a later joiner for the audio to work properly.

kind of a hacky way but it works. TLDR the video player is on when you join the world, and theres a trigger cube that, when you leave the spawn will locally "hit" the sync button on the player and then turn toggle the player, and that trigger cube, off.

Once you've done that it stays synced

I didn't know you could actually have udon remotely "click" on canvasUI buttons, but TIL \o/
