I'm rereading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell and this time around I'm noticing one of the things the story is doing is exploring the left brain/right brain divide.
For instance Mr Norrell can't finish writing anything because he can't stop editing himself.

I recently started reading a book called A Plaine Discovery of the whole Revelation of Saint John. It was written in 1593 and one of the things that's interesting about it is that it cross-references its interpretation of Revelation with the Sybaline Oracles.
