... okay I knew this thing was therian radiation but I underestimated just HOW radioactive holy shit.
We're talking 7/10 vs 11/10. What a dangerous movie. (positive)
I lay down for a nap and dreamed someone made a utility to make Windows 11 look and behave like 98.
What it actually was was a Flash(?) simulation of Windows 98 that ran full-screen, captured all keyboard input, including all (or most?) system keystrokes to simulate 98 system functions, accessed and launched local files... and would, with every computer boot, slowly simulate getting covered more and more in banner ads and virus corruptions.
I somehow worked out part-way through the dream I wasn't actually interacting with a shell re-skin and it was just pretending to be a virus-filled mess, and was trying to find a keystroke that would bypass it to kill it before I woke up.
