@Riedl Sincerely, the introduction of cars in cities was a big mistake. It feels like the decision to create such an enormous infrasture around cars was due to a naive tech position ("car is the futur !") than just rational urbanism.
@pitau The thousands of people that enter the rules cost (generally) more that people or machine that are just labelling. Also I would say that pure labelling / mesurements is an information that is more easily transmitted (it's pure data contrary to rule based system that have to be understand before being improved).
My humble opinion.
@anandphilipc impressive dataviz you found here
@ksoomro Personnally I wouldn't be that worried. It's like Platon saying that writing will make us lazy thinker because we could delegate memory function to script for example. My guess is that people will adopt LLMs like people adopt script/writing in the past : it will probably change the way we think (compare oral culture vs "writing" culture).
@pfau oh thank you so much
@kartografisches You're welcome here !
@BenjaminHCCarr I hope alternatives to the office 365 suite will come mainstream ... Is there is any open source project that can do most of the office 365 functions (instant messaging / email / online drive) ?
@rossgrady I like the fact that podman already anticipate the change (the default address is not docker.io for pulling) : podman clearly saw that thing coming
@pbloem nice
