Yesterday, I spent the day hiding in the woods, the Muir Woods.

I spent MLK Day with my family. We drove through San Francisco, visited Crissy Field, took a nice walk by the bay, enjoyed spectacular views, watched a breathtaking sunset, ate great food, and I promised myself to have more lovely days like this and only watch the news in small doses.

I’m very close to the end of my current WIP. So I sent the first 3 chapters to a critique partner. I’m not anxious about it at all. It’s going to be fine.

Long line conquered, driver’s license renewed, real id acquired. The celebratory lunch ended with a delicious tiramisu.

I’m doing this 21 days of meditation program, and it told me to behold the abundance around me. I’m beholding my potted plants’ abundance of flowers.🥰

Oumuamua caused a big stir, and it’s just a big rock in a shape we aren’t used to seeing in an asteroid. I’m fascinated by our reaction to it. The 1st interstellar object detected passing through the solar system. Our creative minds went berserk over it. Fun stuff.
