I saw two hawks circling off in the distance to the northeast, then they chased a few crows toward and past me. Sadly I couldn't catch a picture as they passed above. But a few minutes later I saw these two hawks - probably the same ones - circling in the distance to the southwest. I've seen both Red-Tailed Hawks and Cooper's Hawks in the area, but I think these look more like red-tailed hawks.

Probably a Cooper's Hawk, also spotted on the same walk this afternoon. It flew up to a telephone pole, alighted there for a few seconds, and as I was trying to line up a shot with the camera, it took off again, then flew a few houses down the street to perch in this tree.

Two (probably red-tailed) hawks spotted on an electrical tower, one looking north, one looking east. I often see one perched up there, watching for prey, but rarely two!
