Oh.. I didn't expect that but I'm also not surprised.
I tried to help you HP Australia, I really did (and I'm in the market for a laptop).
Installed extra 8GB RAM and two 400GB NVME SSDs into the Synology Diskstation 1823xs+ and then migrated drives. Didn't realise existing NVME was actually a part of the RAID and needed to also be migrated or removed!
Pulled out the 6 disks from my Synology DS1621xs+ and dropped them in the new DS1823xs+, power on and it detects, asks 2-3 questions, and off it goes setting things up!
Thanks DoorDash for fixing your error and giving me a code I can use zero (0) times.
The Synology box had another box I side it, no points for correct guesses now :)
