Babylon 5, then Star Trek. I gave up on Star Wars by now. Recently tried to watch Andor S2 and eventually decided Star Wars wasn’t worth my time anymore.

I loved working for a big corporation abroad once, along with a very petty team of gossipy Dutch people. They always kept to themselves, making fun of everyone who wasn’t part of their crew.

One day I just couldn’t tolerate their bullshit anymore, turned around in the lunch area of the office, and asked them in perfect Dutch:

You are aware that I speak multiple languages, right?

I have never seen ten people’s faces turn grey instantly before. :D

Even funnier, they begged me for days to not report them to HR.

I have always disliked make-up, I just can’t stand the feel on my face. Feel free to embrace your natural beauty, ladies. <3

Ich fühle mit dir. Eigentlich hätte ich schon vor 20 Jahren einen Antrag auf Schwerbehinderung stellen sollen, aber habe es bis heute nicht getan und wusel mich irgendwie durch den Alltag. 🤷‍♀️

Gut, nicht vergleichbar mit deinem Los, aber ja, ich kann ansatzweise verstehen, wie es bei dir auch mental ätzend sein muss. Fühl dich umarmt!

Pflege war mein erster Job, aus Überzeugung fristlos und manisch-depressiv lachend gekündigt.
