I have spent the morning installing linux on my new laptop.
Nvidia drivers on Fedora are just.. broken - I had insane graphics lag *only* on my external monitor.
I tried F36, F37 and several driver versions. All had the same issue.

I tried Kubuntu, It installed the graphics drivers during the installer and works out of the box.

Poor Ellie has tick fever from when we went to mums place.

No vets have any serum. Thankfully it's only a mild case and she can recover with a few quiet days of sleeping and no running around.

Back home and at work.
Ellie has already run down to the dam for a swim

Now she's muddy.

Kitten update.

Eyes are open and they're starting to move around.

I found an old router out in the jumble of random bits in mums storage room to try and turn into a wifi repeater so she can get wifi up in the shed.

Turns out some madlad added support for this router 18 days go.
