Hello all! I have a special event coming up I'm calling 8bitJosh's Nintendo (NES) A-Z Extravaganza!

Essentially I want to play NES games on stream alphabetically! Not every game of course but one game for each letter!

How it's going to work is I created a Google Sheet that I'm letting folks add NES games to. Once each letter has enough games I'm going to create a tournament of those games that you vote on. The winner of the tourney is the game I play on stream for that letter!

What social media apps besides this one is everyone using these days?

The reason I ask is everything seems so splintered right now. Twitter is dying a slow death and other apps just aren't gaining any traction because everyone is so spread out. I honestly want to stop using Twitter but it's where all the brand and video game dev accounts are. Can't just get rid of it altogether.

This is why I've been trying to use my Ko-fi page more. I've also been thinking about making more use of my YT Community tab but the prob there is neither have a timeline to see other ppls posts.

I wish everyone would just pick one soul sucking social media app and stick with it lol

Welcome to RetroCity!

I had a little more fun with Cities Skylines 2 than last time. I like the little suburb area I made. May stream it again next week but will probably play some more offline too.

I've spent about 5 hours in Cities Skylines 2 and it just felt like there wasn't enough new stuff to keep me interested. Like the bug is there for me to want to play it, but it just feels more like Cities Skylines Remastered than a true sequel

maybe I should spend more time with it? 🤔
