Ah, also forgot to mention this was done specifically with the Windows 95 version. I explored the DOS and Windows 3.1 versions and they would require much more work.
I've been fiddling about with hacking (and trying to wrap my head around reverse engineering) old PC games. This music hack I did for #SimCity2000 was way easier to accomplish than I could have expected. Now to figure how best to make a patcher program for distribution that is easy for anyone to use. 😵💫
