Just watched Turning Red (2022).

At first I thought the red panda was metaphorical, a meaning of change but as it turns out, it was also a tangible one. The message of the movie was quite nice and heartfelt. Family first but also yourself because you ARE family.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 8 (Finale)
Glad that Fahlada's mother is okay and everyone had a happy ending.

Engfah, what an angel, worrying about Ratee. To her, a rotten person is still a person.

The plot was nothing to write home about and some scenes were irrational but nonetheless, it was an enjoyable watch. Bow is best character, it would have been nice to see more of her.

Now that it's over, perhaps the opening song and "P’Mor" can stop randomly playing in my head throughout the day.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 7
If Fahlada and Earn fact-checked or trusted each other from the start, there would have been only one episode to watch. Meet -> Happy ending

Perhaps this is karma, because Fahlada's mother threatened Earn with her mother's hospitalisation and now she herself fell ill.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 6
Fahlada: "I'd die eating the food you made."
Translation: "I'd die from happiness."

I don't blame Fahlada's mother, because she just cares for her daughter. Why choose an unpredictable path when the other is inlaid with gold? Even if homosexuality is more accepted than it was in the past, it isn't the norm. A nail that sticks out gets hammered down.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 5
Fahlada liking lilies...how befitting.

⚠️ New ship pairing ⚠️

Now that Fahlada and Earn has both experienced and inflicted the same pain to each other, it's time to let the angst go.

The puzzle part is pretty sad and a nice symbolism. Earn tried to put it back together herself but she can't without Fahlada. A puzzle piece needs another to complete it after all.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 4
Engfah is so nice. To love someone, is to want them to be happy, with or without you.

I thought I was watching a high school fight. True to the phrase "Love makes you do stupid things."

Fahlada is such a tsundere.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 3
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Earn was already lectured for being selfish, but then again, that's what happens to someone who's suicidal. They're on their last stroke and have nothing to lose so why care about anything else?

Poor Fahlada, it's reasonable for her to want the past to stay in the past. Giving Earn a chance will be like a Russian roulette. Why risk it?

Also, Bow and Tan, best supporting characters.

The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 2
I was hoping Fahlada wouldn't ask Rossarin to throw the food away as these scenes typically happen, but it's okay, she did it herself. What a champ! Poor food :(
The Secret of Us (2024), Episode 1
So, it begins. The angst. Bring it on.
