Is this dystopian game something I can afford with my savings from not paying union dues?

Same book described farmers letting good food rot because they needed to raise prices. If they gave the food away it would drop prices lower than they already were.

Like you said, banks would take people’s homes and abandon them because they didn’t want to set the standard that you could take loans out and not pay them.

Over 100 years ago the Great Depression proved without a doubt that capitalism is a garbage system and the only safety net it has is tax payer money.

If a bank that’s “too big to fail” and they’re on a downhill path, why waste resources trying to dig themselves out when they know they’ll get a fat paycheck from the people.

It’s insane to me that there’s middle/lower class people that defend this shit.

They were trying to get free meals out of the guy. Fuck them, actually. Bums.
What’s more believable? That unicorns are fictional? Or giraffes?
D has a tiny sliver of Italy too.
You can list all of those things in a resume, besides maybe the traveling.
Not saying global warming isn’t real but the earth is still coming out of the last ice age. So even if humans didn’t exist, every year would still be the warmest until the earth goes back into an ice age.

That’s true, but from what I remember, half the class was either goofing off, sleeping, or straight up not there. Education as a whole isn’t valued in the US anymore. Students/parents blame teachers when their kid doesn’t magically absorb the information without doing any of the work or studying. Trade schools are becoming more popular because of the costs of college, but deep down, they think it’s an easy way to make good money. Those trades require hard work as well. Cost of college is most definitely contributed to the overall lack of education but that’s not causing the average US high schooler to have a reading level of a 5th grader in the UK.
Yeah he’s one of the few that’s around my age and doesn’t cater to a younger audience.
