The other evening I visited city hall to once again lobby council to create car-free streets here! This time I recounted the story of a woman I met in the industrial butthole of town who asked me to walk her across some roads, give her some change, and also told me about a time when she was hit by a car!
The esteemed community members in the audience laughed, bawdily, as I recounted this anecdote, I guess because they assumed she was making it all up in order to get change
A scene I often think back to, from the period when kris ligman was a moderator for a kids' MMO:
A cg penguin waddles up onto the stage at an in-game karaoke bar. Approaches the mic, taps it once. Begins their performance: "I LIKE BAD BITCHES THAT'S MY FUCKIN PROBLEM"
the penguin is then immediately banned for life
