Just raking through the dregs of a box of Christmas’ chocolates, and I’ve come to the realisation that I’ve never been keen on Milky Way. And yet, when I was a kid that’s what everyone gave me. Were they cheaper or something?

Woken to awkward discovery that something has tripped the electric. Which means no hot water or heating. And can’t figure out what’s caused the trip.

It’s chilly out

Just got a (mild) telling for asking for a ‘scotch’ pie in the canteen. I’d forgotten that it is in fact just ‘pie’, and all others are unusual. Guy serving also expressed concern at the lack of calories I was consuming by not having chips with said pie. I like being home.
