#retrocomputing found this rack in an derlic building at my local airport asked the airport manager what the story was with it said want it take it i dunno what it is been there for years no one knows where it came from. Possibly NASA or geologists doing geophysical surveys via airplanes back in the day. Has a Motorola 6800 yes 6800 not 68000 dated 1975 some chips from 74-76 in it. Anyone out there seen anything like it and maybe know where I could find some replacement keys for the keyboard?

Found some references to a system like it that the usgs had 6 made for doing an experiment to measure the magnetosphere around that time and since the US gov hada presence in this town possible it got reused for measuring ore bodies in the area while flying or NASA left it behind in the 90s when they were doing balloon launches shrug
