Just got back from a couple of nights exploring our local mountains with @dreamer2000at. Everything is green right now.
The desert is beautiful this time of year. It was a windy night, but the rooftop tent held up well. We got up at dawn and hiked all day in the wind and rain. As we exited through Blair Valley, we saw at least 100 people camping. We were glad we chose Little Blair Valley.
Just got out of the wilderness from a 5-day backpacking trip with two big thoughts: 1) My daughter continues to show me how strong she is and 2) Not all miles are equal.
