Ganon returns in samurai style with fur covered sheath (尻鞘) like the Shiekah Yiga Blademaster, bu edge down like older tachi compared to newer edge up katana!

Resembles the red haired hero that sealed Calamity Ganon 10,000 years ago... was the 1st hero's corpse possessed?!

Time to eat.

"There is in reality, a virtual me.
This virtual me will not age, and will continue to play the piano for years, decades, centuries.
Will there be humans then?
Will the squids that will conquer the earth after humanity listen to me?
What will pianos be to them?
What about music?
Will there be empathy there?

Empathy that will span hundreds and thousands of years.
Ah, but the batteries will not last that long."

Today is #InvisibleWorkDay, raising awareness of the invisible, unpaid labor done within the home/family or in workplaces. Very often by women.

On this day I'd like to note that there's an entire folktale type dedicated to this. In these tales a husband accuses his wife of "staying comfortably at home all day" while he works, so she suggests they swap for a day.

He learns very fast that caring for the household, children, animals, and food, is a full time job.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was a really fun real good movie! PRACTICAL EFFECTS! ANIMATRONICS!!

Has very fun nods to D&D mechanics like "A 9th level spell!?", a top-down view before a fight breaks out, "Greenflame blade vs Searing Smite!"

Pacing, cinematography's great, shockingly way better than the previous D&D movies hahah. They do some "nod to DnD players seeing a top-down view of the room before combat breaks out", but it works in a organic way.

My recommended starters for those new to Anime & Manga:

- Romance of the Three Kingdoms
- Journey to the West
- Dream of the Red Chamber
- Tale of Genji
- Shibaraku
- Gon
- The Diamond Sutra

When I was at a language exchange bar in Tokyo, a sweaty white guy was screaming at a Japanese salaryman "ANIME IS SHIT!!!" cuz the native wanted to share his hobbies in EN*.

Adam Sessler's attitude isn't just TV, it's how Asians in Asia get treated in real life by trash tourists

*I sat down at the table and talked about Gundam to the local's delight.

New post on my blog:

"Folktale Selection: Sometimes you just have to let toxic people go"

I made a list of folktales where forgiveness is not the moral of the story - rather, the protagonist makes a decision to walk away from people that keep hurting them without remorse. Because we need these stories too.

(Warning: these tales feature domestic abuse.)
