the Iconic towers of Whittington Castle, banging and crying children are often heard. They are believed to belong to the young heir to the castle and his cousin, who disappeared whilst playing in one of the rooms. The grounds were searched, but no one was found.

However, two weeks later, the poor children's remains were found in a heavy wooden trunk, which had been hidden in the towers. Since that day, this trunk has been locked away for fear that if it was opened, another death would occur.

'I am a daughter of Iron.
The guardian of lost spaces
And villages of bone.
I am a ghost, stood at the crossroads,
Longing to be home'
