I really like this thing where I don't know people's genders unless it's on their profiles.

On the internet nobody knows your gender > on the internet nobody knows you're a dog.

ha ha no YOU're dealing with increased #genderfeels lately
@mxmatched WOW HOW DID YOU KNOW

@thehonestpuck hahaha go team genderfeels

*lies on floor staring into the distance*

my gender feels include
- i've been she/her at work but i might need to change that because it Feels Bad
- calling myself trans and being perceived as a woman and still dressing ~femme sometimes feels Wrong
- basically some things Feel Bad in all kinds of ways
- oh shit is this just a depression
- nah "just" depression doesn't get better when you change presentation

what are yours?

@mxmatched some of my #genderfeels

- what even is my body; how do I feel at home in it; I know I got that testosterone prescription but is that even right for me
- distaste for being read as female, dread of being read as male
- how much of my grey-ace-ness is just not knowing how to be a sexual being without binary gender
- WHY IS THERE NO RESEARCH ABOUT US

@mxmatched (related, my Mendeley folder entitled "gender shit" is filling up, because actually there _is_ some research, just added you to it)
@thehonestpuck ooooh thanks, both for sharing your genderfeels and for the folder share <3
@mxmatched on Mastodon, people generally know what kind of furry you are before your gender
