@BobTarte Yes they are. I always was a mammal kind of pet owner, ya know.. but she just changed me and all that I knew about birds. Damn beautiful. Very intelligent..

Our ring-neck dove Howard was with us for 22 years and was a wonderful friend. Now we have two doves (one is pretty aggressive, but harmless), two African grey parrots, a parakeet, and (outdoors) a goose and five ducks. Plus a couple of nice cats that know enough not to go into the 'bird room.' We keep the door closed all the time anyway.
