tjheuvel@st4ts I know that i'm reading too much into this, but i really dont understand why anyone would think making games has gotten any easier. How can anyone take a look at this screenshot and say the programmers for the new doom are no 'real programmers'
@tjheuvel lol i'm not trying to say anything with this meme, i use unity myself and you can have a great performance if you know what you're doing like optimizing geometry & shaders and so on..
even the depiction of the old man saying some assembly code hints to oldschool game programming: that was tedious and because of that we have the tools and the engines of today, and if you know how to use them as they should be you are a 'real programmer' i guess 😃
