I learned that I was saying Ikea wrong my whole like. I was saying 'eye key uh' like I key a car. But apparently you say it like 'eh Kay uh' lol either way that places sucks the life out of ya. Relocating to Vegas soon going to have to buy all that kind of stuff again.

@Chambique I feel like unless you grew up in Scandinavia where we pronounce the letters the same as the one who founded it... like don't worry about it? I don't pronounce meme correctly in english standard so :p

And I feel you, I'm due a relocation trip in about 4 months.

@Corvusheart I'm always curious about words and pronunciation but only from a reading/writing perspective.

Moving around for work has generally been a good thing. It's cool to learn the locales and such.

@Chambique yeah I know what you mean. I still have words that I learned from reading English that I don't know how to pronounce.
