How little is needed to make people patronize others. How little is needed to replicate borders, special laws for immigrants and the fear of loosing one's petty comfort zone. In an openworld.

Especially the fact that you have chosen this particular metaphor (considering what is going in the world about refugees and migrants) makes me very sceptical regarding your declarations of love and openness.
I understand that your view of the world i mostly based on identifying borders. I respect it, even if I do not share it.
But I believe that your attempts to spread this attitude under disguise of love and openness is toxic and should be seriously moderated.

Your right to question norms being the right way of dealing with these issues. I don't have answers to this but "norms" are one of the things holding the #openweb together. Standereds the other.
The crossing borders question is an interesting one. But my point was black and white that blocking the idea of borders is incoherent/spiritual. They exist and its how we define the world.
