I like to imagine that my coworkers don't respond to my review requests in any obvious fashion because I wrote most of the code in question, and they're too intimidated to consider the implications of changes to it.

They would at least be reading them, in that scenario.

It's just... ugh. I *could* push heroic fixes, but I've cleaned up enough of the fallout from other people's heroic fixes that I don't want to be pushing out surprise changes to live code.
