Brian ♷messin' around with typefaces for my blog redesign. I know Lato/Merriweather is not exactly a deep cut, but it's popular for a reason: they're gorgeous together!

I've been wanting to put a nice serif on my blog text for a long time. It's nice to finally be moving forward on it.
Not sure I'm gonna stick with this pairing, but I'm really tempted. I'm not sure what I'd use for quotes, code samples, and asides, but I suspect I've found at least a style to go with.
(where the style is "have some damn character instead of a stock blog theme whose type I used to like but which now feels like the visual equivalent of yackety sax.")
(seriously it's so looooose and I want some tight dang type to represent me well.)
P.S. if any of you wonderful weirdos wanna ask random questions about typography I probably have a) answers and b) too many opinions so ask awaaaaaaaay
