it's true! but even then, the architecture and tools are so rudimentary and broken... like, there's a reason we can't do dlc, for one thing.
@nicknicknicknick I feel like this is a pretty common thing with small team indie games. Also Unity doesn't really make this kind of thing easy
@nicknicknicknick I worked on data-driven moddable game engines and never released a game with them let alone DLC haha
