I wonder if I should change my #mastodon instance before I get too deep into this.

this one is so far behind in the updates. does it matter?

also joined this instance because thought more people would post about #books but haven't really noticed that.

i heard the tool to change instances isn't great either 😑

a quick google search didn't turn up anything.

@elias I thought more people would post about #books too. I have conversations about books here, but arrived after the admin lost two months of toots. It wasn't a high-volume place at the public toot level when I arrived and it isn't high-volume now. I have accounts on other instances. One doesn't 'change' instances as much as add accounts in other instances.

Yeah the local timeline here is quite dead. 500 users but seems only 10-20 daily posters.
