Feels like we're in a golden age for #TV right now.
With a TV series I can get a story fleshed out over 10 episodes (hours) while film had to make do with 2 hours.

SlowRain Has Moved! See below.@elias I'm still a fan of the 2-2.5hr format. I worry much beyond that is just fluff or self-indulgence. It would have to be pretty epic to get me interested.
I watched #TheNightManager earlier this year. It was OK, but not worth the length.
@SlowRain for example: Sinner, Ozark, Alias Grace, The Expanse, The Crown, Better Call Saul (all these on TW #NETFLIX)
I don't like watching movies much atm because I usually watch shows in 1 hr intervals and enjoy the world building of longer series... Also I can bail after 1 hr/ep if I'm not enjoying it.
@elias I don't watch a lot of movies, either. I've heard of some of those shows, but nothing that would make me want to commit more than two hours to any of them. I'm trying to free up more time, not look for more way to entertain myself. Like I said, it would have to be pretty epic.
