Mark A. SargentChanging jobs I've had to turn in my lovely work owned Surface Pro tablet, which I'd been using to write. Any suggestions on a good, cheap-ish laptop whose sole use would be writing?

@authorsargent I'm partial to Lenovo but that is just me. HP is good too, but I'd avoid any normal bargain manufacturers like Acer etc. I think just about every OEM out there has a Chromebook solution. Don't fret too much over specs - the ChromeOS is so lightweight that you can easily get away with 2GB of RAM. Thing you want to look out for is storage space.
