Scott Miller@icefox @djsundog I don't think that these things are inherent to doing things you are unqualified for...I think it's a symptom of being in an environment where you are both expected to work a lot outside of your comfort zone / qualifications, and pretend that it's well within your comfort zone. I cringe every time I see job postings looking for rockstars, because I know the expectation is to not admin what you don't know.
DJ Sundog@Miller_Geek @icefox there's a huge environmental component imo - it's one of the reasons that I try to be more vocal about how sparse my knowledge is on some of the things I work on, to try and help destigmatize not knowing now kinda
