monstrous feminine@lizmonster this brings to mind how i keep thinking of serial tv shows and how they seem to HAVE to kill off beloved characters that people relate to... it’s an upsetting trope and not realistic at all
@skies I don't even like killing characters I dislike!
@lizmonster like death is a part of life and something that needs to be explored in fiction but the idea that characters just have to die, usually young and healthy and maybe finally happy, is just ugh
@skies I prefer revenge fantasies where the bad guys live long, long, miserable lives, while the good guys thrive and forget the bad guys ever existed. 😉
