Three chapters in: Oh, this is nice. The end of chapter three threw in a complication I didn't expect, but it adds an interesting depth to the POV character that I didn't expect to find here.
It's nice to find a story about adults that remembers that adulthood is messy and complicated, and that even sympathetic characters can have aspects that are unlikable.
