working to develop my next comic book project - they tend to become rapidly concrete for me, so I'm having fun poking it during this nebulous phase.

how much shit that I love can I shove into a single project? cryptology? duh. gay? obvs. pretentious narrative structure? must. crisis of faith? I'm sure I can shove that in there somewhere. the petrifying depths of the ocean? maybe that's getting a tad obscure...

@chamastories one book is going to be an encrypted manuscript, and the other is going to be a comic about the guy trying to decrypt it, and them you have to finish decrypting it yourself when he gets sucked into the text!

@Reinderdijkhuis it's also important to manage scope-creep, though. I can always make a different book about sentient sea sponges later.
