Annnddddd. I’ve got the worst claggy skin right now as well. Any tips from folks? Along my jaw line is worse. Can you get pore strips for jawlines?
@mellopuffy not to sound Weird™ but regular (not gel) toothpaste actually helps a lot
@ichbinerica oooo noted. Do you just smear it on and scrub off?
@mellopuffy yeah but wait a few minutes. once you start Feeling It™ you can rub it off lol. use it as a spot treatment, it will shrink the pimples very well. I used to use it a lot in high school
@ichbinerica thanks so much. That will have to be my go to for tonight at least lol.
@mellopuffy California Charcoal? I see ads for it on TV; it seems like a helpful skin mask. Not sure if you're in the States or not, but it might be worth a go?
@aquadonia thanks! I wonder if that might be a bit drying, and am in NZ *waves*
@mellopuffy The ads say it moisturizes and such. Maybe look into it? I'm unsure if they ship that far, but it's worth a shot. (And hi! *waves back*)
@mellopuffy The Ordinary's niacinamide and salicylic acid have changed my life. Or my pores, at least.
@DeaXLena hmmm. How quickly can I get hold of that? (And thankee)
@mellopuffy It ships from Australia, soooo not super fast, but it won't take forever either.
@DeaXLena ok. I shall endeavour to order some. Thankee
@DeaXLena can you flick me a link to that product exactly?

@mellopuffy Pore strips can kinda help, but it's not good to use them too often. You're better off investing in a salicylic acid product (Clearasil pads, or the Stridex pads in the red box) and possibly an alpha hydroxy acid (lots and lots of options, but make sure you get a leave-on product - cleansers don't sit on your skin for long enough).

Jawline can sometimes be hormonal, but it can also be caused by anything touching it too often that isn't clean, or resting your face on your hand.

@dartigen thanks! I suspect hormones are part of it. It’s all whiteheads lumpy claggy spots. It’s driving me batty.
