Hmm... the #under1000 tag is interesting. https://wandering.shop is an #under1000 instance with a strong Code of Conduct that often focuses on #writing and #scifi and #fantasy, but is open to everyone and has writers, knitters, engineers and just plain folks making up our community.

@phildini Noob question: as a #scifi #fantasy fan/writer, I'd be interested in joining – how do multiple instances work here? Do I have to log in/out of each one to see/post to both TLs? Do you just keep both open, or is there some better way to use both in conjunction?

@JamesEGraham you can join as many as you want, but you do need to be logged into each in its own tab or session. There’s no built-in multi-account support on the web app.

You can also export who you follow and move accounts, although then your followers will have to refollow your new account. It does happen, and has happened here.

@phildini Thanks. I'll give it a shot and see how it works out. Strikes me that this is a prob that devs will want to look at sooner rather than later, though, as I already see others complaining about the same issue...

(Said the guy who admits he knows little about how difficult it would be to fix.)
