LL MCBOk, maybe this is a dumb person question, but how do I figure out what “instance” to use when I am trying to log in to an app? I’ve been trying to use “social” but it keeps telling me that I don’t exist on that instance and now I’m starting to get really frustrated.
Aaron Abernethy@CruelSister I think you have to create an account for each instance. This is where this falls down for me. The barrier for interaction is slightly too high.
@theronster Ahhh, yeah. Apparently I have to look for an instance to join, which seems potentially cool for finding niche interests but also a huge pain in the ass to keep track of....
