@Aftertouch do you do the "effects" and colours superpositions only via brushwork ? or do you use some other secrets :^)< ?
@zellk I use a lot of brushwork but I abuse the hell out of color dodge/soft light/ overlay layers, for one.
Also I tend to use the curves adjustment tool to play around with different color schemes and roll from there. Clone stamping and free-transform helps me build up shapes and discover neat textures I wouldn't otherwise.
Lastly I tend to do some finish work via adjusting channels around to give that slight chromatic aberration feel.
