Who is coming to platform.coop/2017? Why or why not?
@ntnsndr 2 members of our collective are coming, despite the cost (we are paying from our own pocket). Btw, it would be REALLY COOL if you guys could help us to find cheap hosting in NYC. We sent a message on the Facebook event, but received no answer.
Please help, NYC is really expensive, and we would like to avoid ending on AirBNB.
Thanks!

@ntnsndr as for the "why we are coming", we are coming to speak with all of you IRL 🙂
We have been trying to get noticed by reaching some people of your collective by email & social media, but merely received any answer.
This time in NYC you won't be able to hide 😄

As they say in "The Coming Insurrection", the best is to meet with friends IRL. https://mastodon.social/media/zy_mLFhYPCLGdb2xeCY

@[email protected] Ha, nice! I'm sorry you didn't get a response! The trouble is we're less of a collective and more a series of complex individuals. But if I can be of any help in the meantime, I'd love to connect synchronously. [email protected] to set something up.

@ntnsndr haha ok no problem 🙂
Now I just hope that at least we will be able to enter in the US, and not end up in Guantanamo.

Airlines get ready for new U.S. security rules from Thursday

New security measures including stricter passenger screening take effect on Thursday on all U.S.-bound flights to comply with government requirements designed to avoid an in-cabin ban on laptops, airlines said.
