@andreblyth its like helpful twitter. There's a timeline where you can see everyone's public toots (posts) which makes it a lot better for finding friends and interacting positively with people.
There's an actual content warning feature for words and images, which also encourages good behavior.
Other than that, people always love to see each others art!
