Hello again, Mastodon. How do we make you into something people who don't understand what is wrong with Twitter would move to?

Tusky is genuinely a much cooler app than Twitter. It's more slick. It's nicer. There are no nazis.

I can write as much as I want here. It's enjoyable in a way Twitter really isn't.

Yet if you told someone about it who has never seen the dark side of Twitter, they wouldn't give a shit.

@petercoffin The communal guidelines seem on point, but it is no guarantee those people won't come peddle their shite in here if it gets even remotely popular. Have you really seen them ban any nazis? If so, I'm glad. I came here on your recommendation just now.
@mattosqueeu is not really them, each instance is essentially its own mod team, and they can block other instances

@mattosqueeu @petercoffin So, if I'm to understand correctly, the mods and the people in charge are much more proactive here than they are on twitter, and the whole thing is much more decentralized.

I also joined based on Peter Coffin's suggestion. Huzzah!F

...we'll see how it works.
