But it doesn't happen on its own. The arc doesn't fall. We must act. Together. All the actions you and I and everyone take are tiny contractions of a collective moral muscle.

Your bicep is made up of millions of sacromeres chained together like boxcars in a train. An impulse triggers the first sacromere. Then they all contract. Working as one they bend the arm.
