Ha, did you fix a #tpyo in my recent show notes, @perloid? If so, thanks! Feel free to any time.

I find I tend to read right through my typo's unless I walk away from what I've written for a period of time.

#noteToSelf remember to uncheck the 'explicit' tag when uploading! :P #HPR

@nybill Yes, I did. Each Saturday I prepare the last 5 shows for upload to archive.org and do checks then. I don't usually ask, I just fix!
@perloid Thanks pal. I owe you a proof reading pint. ;)
@perloid ...and really, that whole episode was a bit of duct tape and band aides. I have 3 HPR's I've started in the last ~4months and never got around to finishing. I figured I better just get one out there even with all its bumps and bruises.
@nybill I enjoyed that a lot. Never knew there was high melting point solder on mother boards, nor about polymer capacitors.
@nybill I always reckon people would prefer not to have their typos archived for all time :-) Plus I'm hella pedantic (as they say)!!
@nybill Also, I heard you say you'd moved to SDF's Mastodon on your show, but somehow thought I was already following you there. Done now :)

@perloid Yea, my servers are basically falling over. The Digital Ocean instance is gone now. (that was Statusnet). And I've fixed up the Linode. That is Medigoblin serving up pics.

I also have https sorted now. I planned to start a GNU/Social instance. GMN3. I might get around to it. Or, I might look into running a Mastodon instance. We'll see. But, I'll be here for the foreseeable future.
